SANT’ANTONIO FOOTPATH AND MONTE DI MEZZOCORONA

This is one of the most popular walks for children in the Trentino mountains. It is also a delight for active - or even less fit - adults who love nature and the outdoors but who also appreciate a little sunbathing and a slice of apple strudel along the way.

THE FAVOGNA VIA FERRATA 

This is a route for the fitter, more expert adventurer in search of physical contact with nature. A short ascent through woods, then the adrenaline starts to run as you embark on the via ferrata itself. You’ll need harness and helmet, and a good supply of energy! The landscape and views more than reward the effort. 

THE VIA CLAUDIA AUGUSTA
For cycling enthusiasts, the Via Claudia Augusta is Trentino’s most historic cycle path. The original Roman road connected the Latin and Germanic worlds and now you can follow the route by bike and enjoy the countryside of the Adige Valley with its towering castles and bubbling torrents … exhilaration at every turn of the wheels. 

THE WINERIES OF THE PIANA ROTALIANA
Piana Rotaliana: Trentino’s garden of vines with its famous Teroldego grapes and its wineries and distilleries. Learn how grappa is made by the “de varda” method and visit the “Cose di Casa” museum with its historic agricultural and wine- & grappa-making implements.

CASTEL THUN

Experience the magical atmosphere of one of Trentino’s most enchanting castles. Castel Thun is an ancient manor set in the gentle landscape of the Val di Non and is one of the most interesting examples of castle architecture in Trentino. Many of its rooms, some splendidly furnished and decorated, are open to the public.
